The Interpark Metropolitan District is a Title 32 Special District that has been established for the purpose of financing and installing street, park and recreation, water, sanitation, transportation, mosquito control, safety protection, limited fire protection, and television relay and translation improvements of the District, and the provision of covenant enforcement and design review; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Service Plan for the District approved by the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado on June 13, 2017, as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the taxpayers of the District. The District is located in the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the City and County do not provide.

The District may incur a maximum debt of $10,000,000. Ad valorem property taxes and other legally available revenues may be used to repay such debt.

The District may assess a maximum mill levy of fifty (50) mills to repay such debt. The mill levy may be adjusted if there are any changes in the method of calculating assessed valuation or any constitutionally mandated tax credit, cut or abatement on or after January 1, 2017.

The District must file an Annual Report with the Division of Local Government, the State Auditor, and the City and County of Broomfield Clerk and Recorder.

The District boundaries overlap with the boundaries of Broomfield City, Broomfield County General Fund, Broomfield County HHS, Regional Transportation District, Urban Drainage And Flood District, Jeffco R1 Schools General Fund, Jeffco R1 Schools Bond, Jeffco R1 Schools Abate, North Metro Fire General Fund, North Metro Fire Bond Fund, North Metro Fire Abatement, BURA – Original Broomfield, and Front Range Passenger Rail.
